Michael N. Bailey joined NewSouth Capital Management, Inc. in 2014 as a member of the research team. Prior to joining NewSouth, Mr. Bailey was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and began his career in public accountancy as a valuation analyst.

Mr. Bailey holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Master of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He earned a Master of Science from the London School of Economics in 2003, and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi in 2002. Mr. Bailey has been a CFA® charterholder since 2012 and is a member of CFA Society Memphis and CFA Society Virginia.

Christine Burns Patti joined NewSouth Capital Management, Inc. in 2010 as Director of Business Development. Prior to joining NewSouth, Ms. Burns Patti was Vice President – Marketing at DKR Capital. She also held business development responsibilities at Credit Suisse Asset Management, Schroder Asset Management, and MetLife. She began her career with The Travelers.

Ms. Burns Patti graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in 1982 and a Master of Business of Administration in 1987, both from the University of Connecticut. She has been a CFA® charterholder since 2000 and is a member of CFA Society New York and the AIMSE (Association of Investment Management Sales Executives).

Patrick J. Danehy joined NewSouth Capital Management, Inc. in 1994 and is the Director of Client Communications and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining NewSouth, Mr. Danehy was Vice President – Senior Strategist with Commerce Investment Corporation. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand where he served as an Audit Senior.

Mr. Danehy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Appalachian State University in 1986. He currently serves as Immediate Past Chair for ArtsMemphis, Treasurer for The Mid-South Food Bank and was previously on the board of Lausanne Collegiate School. Mr. Danehy has been a CFA® charterholder since 1997 and is a member of CFA Society Memphis.

Andrew L. MacQueen joined NewSouth Capital Management, Inc. in 1988 and is the firm’s Head Trader. He was formerly a Fixed Income Analyst with First Tennessee Investment Management, Inc.

Mr. MacQueen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College in 1987. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. He was previously the Treasurer of the St. Columba Episcopal Retreat Center and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Redbirds Foundation. Mr. MacQueen has been a CFA® charterholder since 1991 and is a member of CFA Society Memphis.

Alexander D. McLean, Executive Vice-President and Co-Chief Investment Officer of NewSouth Capital Management, Inc., joined the firm in 1999 as a member of the research team. Prior to joining NewSouth, Mr. McLean was an Associate with real estate merchant bank Security Capital Group, Inc. and previously worked in international logistics for Intertrans de Mexico. He began his career as a high school teacher.

Mr. McLean earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992 and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. He is currently Chair of the Board of Shelby Farms Park Conservancy and a member of the University of North Carolina Arts and Sciences Foundation Board. Mr. McLean has been a CFA® charterholder since 2003 and is a member of CFA Society Memphis.

D. Stephen Morrow, President and Co-Chief Investment Officer of NewSouth Capital Management, Inc., co-founded the firm in May 1985. Mr. Morrow was formerly an investment officer with Southeastern Asset Management, Inc. and First Tennessee Investment Management, Inc.

Mr. Morrow graduated from of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in 1975. He is a member of the Memphis University School Board of Trustees, the Synergy Treatment Center Board of Directors and is Chairman Emeritus of The Dixon Gallery and Gardens Board of Trustees. Mr. Morrow has been a CFA® charterholder since 1980 and is a member of CFA Society Memphis.

He was also a Research Analyst at Thornburg Investment Management and Nicholas Company, Inc. and began his career at Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc.

Mr. Rutlin earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1996. He has been a CFA® charterholder since 1999 and is a member of CFA Society Milwaukee.

Mr. Shifflet earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Haverford College in 2011 and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2017. He has been a CFA® charterholder since 2015 and is a member of CFA Society Memphis.

Stephanie A. Simpson joined NewSouth Capital Management, Inc. in 2016. Prior to joining NewSouth, Ms. Simpson was Senior Vice President, Disability and Absence Management Practice and Compliance at Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. She held several other positions at Sedgwick, including Corporate Counsel and Vice President – Human Resources Compliance. She began her career with Guardsmark.

Ms. Simpson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 and a Juris Doctor in 2001, both from the University of Memphis. She is the founder and President of 901 Petals of Purpose (901 POP) and is also Vice Chair of the West Cancer Foundation. She is a past President of the Junior League of Memphis.
